We're not together. Her manager is my manager, and I'm helping with one of her shows. I'm helping with her appearance on MTV.' 'We were talking about how she wants to do something more with the (awards) show, and about me helping out and hoping to work with her on doing something to make her MTV appearance more innovative.' A friend of the singer tells the Daily Star: “It’s not just Kevin’s partying and gambling, there are all sorts of things she thinks lawyers should know about. “She may not be Snow White, but she is determined to show he is no knight in shining armour either.” The case is due to be held at the Los Angeles Superior Court on September 17.

Timbaland has approached Timberlake about working with Spears on a comeback project and her ex has agreed to lend a hand. The rapper and producer - real name Timothy Mosley - tells Entertainment Weekly, 'I feel her pain, it really bothers me. 'I'm the type of person who tries to save the world. I just want to take her away, go overseas, and work (it) out.' Timbaland says he invited Timberlake, who he calls his 'best friend', to work with him to help Spears. He explains, 'I asked Justin, 'How would you feel about me working with Britney?' I had to ask him that. I said, 'Would you do it with me?'' According to Timbaland, the Sexyback singer agreed, saying, 'She's just gotta be serious.' Spears is currently seeking treatment at a drug and rehabilitation centre in California. I think that once people remember what it is that made them love Britney in the first place, that everything will be alright.' He also explained that Britney's new CD would not be a revenge album. Ne-Yo said, 'Her A&R people told me, 'No more songs about Kevin.' That's what they told me coming in the door. 'We don't need no songs about Kevin…just write Britney Spears songs. Meanwhile, her new BFF Paris Hilton also made Yahoo's top 10 list in addition to Jessica Simpson and a number of other highly profiled celebrities. Out of all of Yahoo's top news stories this year, celebrity news captured the top 2 spots. These stories included the death of 'Crocodile Hunter' Steve Irwin and the death of Anna Nicole Smith's son, Daniel Wayne Smith. These reports just go to show the influence celebrities have on our everyday lives. Although many people hate to admit it, we are infatuated with the lives of celebrities, which can probably explain the billions of times they are searched every month. Sadly, of all Yahoo's search terms, the Iraq war placed a mere third to some of the other celebrity stories this year.

Britney was not a happy camper when she walked on stage at the American Music Awards earlier this week. The pop princess made a dashing appearance at the awards show right after AMA host Jimmy Kimmel performed a comedy sketch poking fun at Fed Ex. AMA host Jimmy Kimmel opened up the show mocking the wannabe rapper and calling him, 'the world's first no-hit wonder.' Although audience members laughed at the joke (err, rather, the truth), BritBrit refused to budge and crack a smile. Kimmel then surprised the audience by introducing the pop princess as the 'the new bachelorette' to the stage. BritBrit made no comment as she presented the first award of the night, however, backstage the 24-year-old was reportedly fuming. According to Life and Style magazine, the bubble-gum chewing starlet was fighting back tears and was completely 'devastated.' A source said, 'She said she didn't want to go out there,' and then 'she ran off the stage in tears. ... She was just devastated.'
