The couple wed in June 2004. 'When we got married, I was like, `I've been working for I don't know how many years at (a high) level of intensity and exposure,' Lopez says. 'I'm going to get back to what originally drew me to expressing myself as a creative person.' The 38-year-old singer-actress was previously married to choreographer Cris Judd and waiter Ojani Noa. Anthony, 37, was married to former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres. Lopez recently released her first all-Spanish album, 'Como Ama una Mujer (How a Woman Loves),' which was mainly produced by Anthony. The album 'is an opportunity for me to show my emotions, vulnerability and passion,' she tells the magazine. 'I don't get to do that as much in English.' Lopez will perform 'Que Hiciste (What Did You Do),' the first single from 'Como Ama,' when she appears April 11 on News Corp.'s Fox network talent competition, 'American Idol.'

The singer has returned to her Puerto Rican roots with a new album of Spanish love songs and says her diva demands are in the past. 'I'm not J.Lo any more,' Jennifer told Britain's The Guardian newspaper. 'That's all gone with all the ridiculous stories about tantrums and Egyptian sheets. That's all my past. 'I'm Jennifer Lopez. I think, as a woman, I've finally grown more sure of who I am. It does seem ironic that it has taken me more than a decade to basically get back to who I am. 'I am incredibly proud of my culture and I think I am a woman who is totally defined by my culture. My temperament, my body shape, the way I am is all very much Puerto Rican.' The 37-year-old singer-and-actress says that while recording her new album - Como Ama Una Mujer (How a Woman Loves) – she was advised by her husband of two years, Marc Anthony, to concentrate on pouring out her emotions. 'This is the album I'm proudest of,' she said. 'In fact, this is the only album I've ever recorded that I listen to in my car.'

The album, Como Ama Una Mujer, which means How a Woman Loves, is co-produced by Lopez's husband, Marc Anthony, the Los Angeles Times reported. Lopez was talked out of singing in Spanish by former Sony executive Tommy Mottola when her career was just starting, but now she said she is happy to be able to return and do an album in her chosen language. I thought that my career was going to be in Spanish music, honestly, Lopez said. My life took a different turn, which was great for me. But my heart was always kind of on the Spanish side. Lopez, like many other Latinos born in the U.S., grew up mostly speaking English. She did not learn Spanish until she became an adult. I know it's not maybe what people would expect from me, she said. But this is a beautiful opportunity for me to show a side of myself that is such a big part of who I am.

She will receive the award February 14 from Nobel Peace Prize winner Jose Ramos-Horta. 'Since first hearing of these atrocities in 1998... I desperately wanted to tell this story (as depicted in 'Bordertown'). I began working to ensure we made this film in order to bring the attention of the world to this tragedy and to pressure the Mexican government to bring to justice those responsible for these horrible crimes,' explained Lopez.

Both Hollywood stars attended the extravagant ceremony in Italy last Saturday (18.11.06), but made every effort to stay away from each other all night to avoid talking about the ‘Dallas’ movie which J.Lo pulled out of and Travolta is starring in. A source told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “The pair avoided each other like the plague and John sneered at her whenever they were forced together.” Lopez allegedly quit the movie earlier this year because she didn’t want to work with Travolta. The Latin actress was set to play J.R. Ewing’s troubled wife Sue Ellen in the adaptation of the hit US TV drama. It was reported at the time that Lopez hated the script and wasn’t happy that Travolta had been handed the role of her on-screen husband.

Avjet Corp. of Burbank sued Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, seeking nearly $35,000. It claims Lopez has yet to pay for two flights on Gulfstream jets from Farmingdale, N.Y. -- one to Puerto Rico on Jan. 26, and another to Burbank on May 25. Each flight cost about $16,000, according to the lawsuit, and with interest the bill totals $34,241. An invoice lists the passengers as Marco Muniz -- the real name of her musician husband, Marc Anthony -- and Lopez under the name Jennifer Muniz, along with four other guests. Calls made after business hours Thursday to Lopez's attorney and publicist were not immediately returned. Lopez, 36, has appeared in such films as 'Selena,' 'Out of Sight' and 'Monster-in-Law.' She and Anthony co-star in 'El Cantante,' a biopic of salsa legend Hector Lavoe that premiered at the Toronto Film Festival last month.

J.Lo, 37, has refused to comment on the split, but The Firm has issued a statement saying: 'Jennifer is a dear friend of The Firm and will remain so regardless of the business relationship. This was a decision based on differing styles and expectations and we wish her the absolute best.' Lopez has endured a disappointing last 12 months. Her 2005 album 'Rebirth' flopped and while her role in 'An Unfinished Life' with Robert Redford and Morgan Freeman achieved critical acclaim, it failed to win her the expected award nominations. J.Lo has parted ways from The Firm at an extremely busy time in her career Her new movie 'Bordertown', in which she stars with Antonio Banderas and plays a journalist investigating the murder of young female factory workers, will be released in October. 'El Cantante' a biopic of one of the pioneers of salsa Hector Lavoe, which also stars J.Lo's husband Marc Anthony, just premiered at the Toronto Film Festival to positive reviews and is scheduled to be released in the next few months. Lopez's album of Spanish-language ballads, 'Como Ama Una Mujer' ('The Way A Woman Loves'), is also scheduled for release in November. During the last year several managers have left The Firm, taking with them a number of high-profile clients, including Orlando Bloom, Natalie Portman and the Dixie Chicks.
